Encrypted server backups, stored in Google Drive.
Personal VPS Backup is a self-maintained tool for backing up the owner's servers. It prepares backup archives, encrypts them before upload, and uses the Google Drive API to store them.
Create backups
Prepare database snapshots and copies of relevant server files and configuration.
Encrypt locally
Encrypt archives with an age public key. The decryption private key is kept separately by the owner.
Upload to Drive
Upload encrypted backup files through an OAuth-authorized Google Drive connection.
Google Drive access
This application requests only the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file OAuth scope. It uses this permission to create, access, and manage files associated with the application. It does not request unrestricted access to all files in a Google Drive account.
The service is not publicly available, does not provide user registration, and is operated solely for the owner's personal server backups.
Privacy and transparency
For information on OAuth credentials, backup data handling, storage, deletion, and revoking access, read the Privacy Policy. Usage conditions are available in the Terms of Service.
