1. Intended use
Personal VPS Backup is maintained for the owner's personal server backup needs. It is not a public cloud backup service, does not offer user registration, and is not sold to third parties.
2. Google account authorization
The application uses Google OAuth with the drive.file scope to create and manage backup files associated with the application in the authorized Google Drive account. Authorization may be revoked by the account owner at any time.
3. Backup responsibilities
The owner is responsible for maintaining access to the Google account, safeguarding OAuth credentials and encryption keys, monitoring backup results, and periodically testing restoration. Losing the encryption private key may make encrypted backups unrecoverable.
4. Availability and limitations
This personal utility is provided on an as-is basis, without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or successful recovery. Google Drive availability and applicable Google terms are managed by Google. Backups should not be treated as a substitute for an independent recovery copy.
5. Changes
The owner may modify this tool and these terms as necessary to reflect changes in operation or requirements.
